MH370: Anwar now admits Capt Zaharie related to son's in-laws

After denying it over the past few days, DS Anwar now has to concede that he knew the pilot and is related by his son's marriage to him
- this was after certain FaceBook pages came out with evidence from his son's FB account which showed the relationship between the pilot and Anwar's family
- however, just being related does not mean Anwar is close to the pilot
- in another strange coincidence, people on social media are now pointing out that the day the plane went missing which was on 8th March is the same date as the first political tsunami in Malaysia in GE12 2008, which was also held on 8th March or 308. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction as it is indeed an eerie coincidence.

Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has now admitted that MH370 pilot Capt Zaharie Ahmad Shah is related to his son's in-laws.

"I am not denying that he (Zaharie) is related to one of my in-laws and that I have met him on several occasions.

"In fact, he is a close friend of (PKR supreme council member and Subang MP) R. Sivarasa (picture shows Sivarasa's own posting regarding Zaharie), as we said before," Anwar told reporters at the Parliament lobby here Tuesday.

Earlier, Anwar was quoted by South China Morning Post as saying: "I don’t recollect the name (Zaharie), but when the photographs were shown, I remembered I had seen him at party meetings," he said.

He also said they had had no personal contact, but Zaharie was a follower of his Twitter account.
